    I take a flat head screwdriver and a hammer to it. It surprisingly works great!

    i just put all the conectors on to the rod - the last 2 then pull on the sides of the grey rods so that there bent place the last 2 connectors in then push the grey rods back together although when building the rectangle i used mepains method stated earlier

    I detach one rod from the last couple of connectors, then tilt the connector that I am adding, straighten it out and attach it to the rod that remains fully connected, then press down on the other rod to lock it in.
