K'nex mini golf
A cool little golfing game that I made. You hit a ball onto a platform into a hole which then returns the ball back to you.





1 - Gather Materials
Connectors
-29 white
-69 yellow
-16 green
-22 red
-112 orange
-16 light grey
-30 grey

End Connectors
-5 tan lock
-2 orange track splice
-2 black short end

Rods
-61 grey
-64 red
-6 yellow
-2 blue
-45 white
-77 green

Miscellaneous
-2 silver spacer
-2 ball half

Other
-A golf ball or bouncy ball (Only if you don't have a K'nex ball)



2 - The golf club



Make three of this:



Connect them like this:




Make the head of the golf club:














Connect the head and the handle:






3 - The ramp
Make this:


The grey rod should have all but two connector-sized spaces filled with orange connectors.








4 - The ball guides
Right side:




Flipped














For the left side make the exact same thing except flip everything around:




5 - The ball ramp
Make the upper ramp:






Make the lower ramp:








Make the lower ramp support:


Attach like this:




6 - The base
Make this:










7 - The ball holder
Make this:




Make this:




Attach them like this:






8 - Back stop
Make this:






9 - Platform
Make this:










10 - Attach Everything Together
Attach the ramp to the base:


Attach the platform to the base:


Attach the back stop to the platform:


Attach the ball guides to the platform:








Attach the ball holder to the back stop:


Attach the upper ramp to the platform:


Attach the lower ramp to the upper ramp and to the supports:







Now you're done!

Hah, thanks. I don't know if I'll be finishing the dragster though because I don't have enough pieces.

Woohoo!! More games and this on this one the ball comes back! Oh... you could try and see how many continuous pots you could get.

Very creative idea! I really like how the ball comes back. Could definitely be expanded into a larger mini golf course of some sort. Faved! (How can we feature it without a full size image? *hint hint* )

Nice! Even though I hate golf, mini-golf, and the like, I can still appreciate the engineering to design the return-ball-function.

Did you resize those images? If so, try to resize them to something closer to 600x800 rather than a size that small. My camera takes 8mp pictures, so I resize them to 600x800 pictures so as to avoid hot posting.

Yeah I know that, but since I don't have any good picture editing software I use flickr to edit all of my photos.
