    Question 2 Legged Shufflebot

This my walker but due to an unfortunately centre of gravity it can only shuffle. Originally it was 4 feet tall and programmable but I realized that no motor could lift the legs even with a super low gearing so I shrunk it down so a motor could propel it.

    Materials
    Spoiler:
    Connectors
    -8 yellow
    -6 green
    -2 red
    -2 light grey
    -18 dark grey

    End Connectors
    -8 tan locks

    Rods
    -1 grey
    -1 red
    -1 yellow
    -1 blue
    -6 white
    -12 green

    Miscellaneous
    -2 rubber bands

    Motors and Wheels
    -4 medium wheels
    -2 small wheels
    -2 small grey cogs
    -1 standard motor

    Legs
    Spoiler:
You need to make two of these (or your shufflebot will only go in circles) each one with the tan clip at the top facing the opposite direction to the other. Put the green connectors on the feet either side of the yellow ones.

    Rear end
    Spoiler:
I know wheels have no place on a walker but as I said before he hasn't learned to walk upright yet.
    First make 2 axle supports.

Then add one to a red rod by the green connector and slide on the wheels as shown.

Clip on grey connectors to the axle to space out the wheels (you could use spacers or all dark grey connectors for this but don't fix the wheels to the rod with tans).

Clip on 3 more grey connectors and the other support.

Now push a grey cog on each end.

    Attaching to the Motor
    Spoiler:
Take your motor and bend the wire so that the motor and battery housings' holes align then tread a grey rod through the holes closest to the battery pack's switch.
Then clip the axle supports on so that the motor is above the battery pack.

Make this with the tan clips pins facing outwards.

Clip on a dark grey connector to the grey rod either side of the motor facing upwards and back towards the wire, perpendicular to the axle supports.
Push the yellow rod against the yellow connector (do not clip on) and slide the yellow rod and its tan clips into the grey connectors like in the picture.

    Attaching the Legs
    Spoiler:
    Make 2 of these.

Slide these onto the grey rod and clip on a dark grey connector after it. Lots of grey!!

    Make 2 of these.

Take this and thread it through the hole in the red connector that you put on the bot and then the yellow connector in one of your legs as shown in the picture. Put the tan clip on the white rod into the middle (smallest) hole in the red connector.

Make 2 of these as well.

Slide these on to the grey rod too and guess what....clip on a dark grey connector after them. Put the end of the white rod through its hole.

    Ranks
    Spoiler:
Take a blue rod and clip on a tan clip with the pin facing away from the rod and then slide on a small wheel so that the end of the blue rod does not protrude out of its hole.

Now slide this into your motor.

Put another tan clip and small wheel onto the blue rod as before.

Now take the tan clip on each of your legs (the shuffler's legs- don't hot glue a connector to your leg) and push the pin into the same hole in the wheel as the tan clip attaching it to the wheel.

Take a blue rod and push it through the other 2 holes of the motor and battery casings and then clip a dark grey connector on each end.

    Walking
    Spoiler:
To make it 'walk' just flick the switch on the battery pack to rotate anticlockwise, it works best on even ground and for better grip just rap a rubber band around the feet.

    Further Development
    Spoiler:
I am working on using the hole in the front of the motor and adding weight onto a rotating rod to transfer weight onto each leg.

Yes and yes if I can get it to work, are you missing the right side of the pictures?

Please don't. It does look cool though. Enter it in the holiday one.
Looks great. I want it to work. But I don't.
Looks more like a roller though.

It uses the front legs to pull itself forward.

Sort of like a zombie without it's legs.

    I like this very much.

So is it walker? I would classify a walker as using all of its legs. But I am not sure.

    Yeah, that's right, thanks.

Thanks for the clarification. So the back wheels roll and the front weels drag. Interesting. If I was not in this contest I would be voting for this. It would be super cool if there was a way to make it fully "walk" instead of drag.
    Melikes.

    Awww, it's cute.

    I hate cute.

Guess I have no choice other than to make it bigger, mount 6 cannons on it, 2 machine guns, and a chariot full of awesome.

    Be back later.

Neat! Use of the hubcap connector and wheel for the axle is pretty clever!
If you can imagine it, you can build it!
